In our region, we focus on adventure and culture programs, allowing visitors to experience the authentic side of Uzbekistan, while also supporting the local community.
We offer a chance for tourists to connect to the native way of life with a tour that allows travellers to stay at a local house in the small village of Nurata, having the opportunity to experience the traditional cuisine and interacting with the local community, consequently increasing their mental outlook.
In the future, we plan to open a camping area called "Afsona Village", situated in an idyllic location of a beautiful landscape and river, not far from Samarkand. At the same time, we intend to provide complete quality and professionalism in every detail of what we offer, taking pride in the hospitality and cordiality of our people.
Meet the Team
Meet Shoista Saydaminova, the founder of Afsona Travel. Shoista was born in Samarkand city, in the village of Bagizagan. After studying French language at her university, she entered the sphere of tourism as a guide. After Uzbekistan became a republic, she decided to open her own business in this field, and opened her own tourism agency. Since 1999, she has been running Afsona Travel, focusing on incoming tourism in her destination. In her free time she enjoys reading, listening to music and meeting new people.
