There are high speed electric train "Registon" courses from Tashkent to Samarkand and back every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The train departs from Tashkent at 07:00 and arrives in Samarkand at 10:30. It then leaves Samarkand at 15:00 and arrives in Tashkent at 20:32. The train consists of 6 coaches; each coach has separate rooms with six soft comfortable seats. An expandable table is provided for extra convenience. Air-conditioning inside the train will keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.
You can purchase tickets in economy and first-class coaches. In the first class coach, a television is added to the list of facilities.
The cost of the economy class ticket is 16 USD and the cost of the first class ticket is 26 USD.
