Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
Hotel Zargaron is built to resemble a traditional Bukharian house of the 19th century. Inside the hotel, guests will find remarkable works of local Bukharian craftsmen, who have applied their unique skills to replicate the appearance of a typical 19th century traditional home of the Bukharian elite. These actions not only support local craftsmen and keep the traditional practices alive, but also allow visitors from other countries get acquainted with the traditional Uzbek architecture of different time periods and evoke their interest in the local culture.
