Hotel Zargaron

From this history, the hotel gained its name "Zargaron", meaning "jewellers' block" in Persian. Surrounding the hotel are the highlights of Bukharian architectural heritage, including the legendary Poi-Kalyan ensemble. The architecture of the hotel is remarkable for it is design - which resembles the traditional architectural style of rich Bukharian houses of the 19th century. As a tribute to this architectural concept, the hotel has a snug inner yard and a splendid outer yard adjoining the Poi-Kalyan ensemble. The interior of the hotel is fully consistent with the original idea and features many elements of traditional décor. The restaurant of the hotel was created by skilled Bukharian craftsmen, using traditional techniques such as wood and ganch carving. It is designed as a traditional 19th century Bukharian guestroom with elegant wood and ganch carvings made by skilled craftsmen of Bukhara. The chef of the restaurant will be glad to cook up to 50 dishes of Uzbek, European and vegetarian cuisine. On the second floor of the hotel, there is an open summer bar, overlooking the unforgettable sights of Bukhara. The pleasant inner yard is organized in traditional style with a green garden and a fascinating view of the Kalyan Minaret, built in the12th century.
