Hotel Malika-Khiva

Hotel Malika-Khiva opened in May, 2004. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance from the main historical sites of Khiva. From the front door, guests can have the best view of all of Khiva. There is a grand pool and beautiful gardens in front of the hotel filled with flowers and lined with benches, where guests can watch the sun inch across the base of what was meant to be the largest minaret in the world. The hotel is richly decorated with wood carvings, suzani, carpets, and traditional paintings. This décor adds a richly oriental atmosphere to the hotel. The big restaurant of the hotel looks like a banquet hall of a Great Khan, where guests will be served delicious authentic Khorezmian food such as Gumma, Pilav and many other dishes.
