Boutique Hotel Minzifa - a small family-run hotel was designed to resemble the concept and appearance of a 19th century Bukharian mansion. For the creation of the hotel's exterior and interior, an attempt was made to recreate traditional Uzbek, in particular Bukharian, styles of construction and décor. Ideas were taken from old photographs and archive documents. As a result, Boutique Hotel Minzifa demonstrates the beauty of traditional Uzbek geometrical and floral ornaments, traditional carving on wood and ganch (plaster) and the diversity of wall paintings. The building is constructed according to architectural canons that existed in Bukhara in the 19th century. The facade of the hotel is decorated with "kirma" - traditional carving on plaster on walls. Throughout the hotel's exterior and interior, guests may also see traditional craftworks "kandakori" - carving on wood. All doors, shutters, wooden columns of the hotel are adorned with kandakori. A special highlight of the hotel is a wooden kandakori door that is over 150 years old.
